Oak Bay police hope the power of video and social media will make drivers think harder after sharing a clip of a car blatantly cruising through a stop sign.

He also posted the video, sent in by a concerned resident, on Twitter with a similar message.

IB次元官网网址檝e almost gone over the hoods of a few cars when IB次元官网网址檓 jogging in Oak Bay and crossing legally at crosswalks,B次元官网网址� he said.

HeB次元官网网址檚 previously suggested on social media that if a driver kills a child, he might have them come and tell the parents.

B次元官网网址淚 realize that sounds shockingly harsh but I need people to realize that there are very tragic outcomes to this selfish behaviour. IB次元官网网址檓 confident that coming with me to do an NOK (next of kin) notification would change their behavior. If harsh words can turn the light on for some drivers and therefore reduce the chances of someone being hurt or killed in Oak Bay, so be it.B次元官网网址�
