The Town of View Royal is inviting the public to an open house next Tuesday (June 16) relating to the potential connection of the two ends of the E&N Rail Trail through the Esquimalt First Nation lands.
The portion of the trail running through View Royal currently ends at Hallowell Road, near where Ralmax is operating a landscaping supply company and a recycling depot under agreement with the band.
The section of trail coming from Victoria West ends in Esquimalt on the boundary of the Songhees First Nation land.
The open house happens from 3 to 6 p.m. at View Royal Town Hall, 45 View Royal Ave.
