When the dust settled Saturday (Oct. 15) at 6 p.m. at the close to the 48-hour competition, Regina retained its champion title, collecting 227,703 kilograms of food. Halifax came in second with 70,883 kilograms of food.
In Greater Victoria, about 61,235 kilograms of food B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·“ 6,577 kilograms more than last year B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·“ was donated.
It is enough food to stock the Mustard SeedB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s shelves for about a month.
