At MondayB次元官网网址檚 meeting, Langford council voted to approve the purchase of an unmanned aircraft system for use by Langford Fire Rescue.
Coun. Lillian Szpak expressed the appreciation of council to the Langford FirefighterB次元官网网址檚 Women's Auxiliary, who offered to cover the $5,000 cost of the new equipment once the purchase was approved.
The $2,750 training component of the new equipment is covered by the departmentB次元官网网址檚 training budget.
