Two Jack Russell puppies were stolen from at East Sooke property on Sunday.
Don Kotzer, owner of the dogs, is currently in the hospital for heart problems but got a day pass to go home and try to set the puppies up with new families. His daughter, Sam Kotzer, was taking care of the puppies while Kotzer was gone.
B次元官网网址淢y dad was so excited to come home for a day and spend some time with the puppies before they were adopted,B次元官网网址 said Sam. B次元官网网址淭hose dogs are his family besides me.B次元官网网址
At 1 p.m. a family came to view the puppies and ended up adopting one from the litter of four.
Then around 2 p.m., another couple, who were in their late 20B次元官网网址檚, came to look at the dogs.
B次元官网网址淚 didnB次元官网网址檛 see the guy much, the girl did most of the talking, and they parked way down at the bottom of our driveway which I thought was a little strange, because I found out after that they were driving a jeep,B次元官网网址 said Don Kotzer.
The woman picked the puppy she wanted, paid Kotzer with cash for the adoption, and then B次元官网网址渓eft in a hurry.B次元官网网址
After the woman left, Kotzer called for the remaining two puppies, only to find that they were gone. Kotzer said the man must have grabbed the other two dogs while the woman was paying.
The couple were reported to be driving a black jeep with a silver stripe. The puppies are white, with brown and black spots on their faces and bodies.
B次元官网网址淭his is beyond me, I am just absolutely devastated,B次元官网网址 said Kotzer. B次元官网网址淚 was so worried, I thought I was going to have a heart attack. And the worst part was the next people who showed up to see the dogs came from way up-Island, and I had to tell them they were stolen.B次元官网网址
