Three men, including two who ended up in hospital with serious stab wounds, are in custody after a home invasion turned violent in Esquimalt Friday.

Of those apprehended, two males aged 38 and 46, remain in hospital in serious but stable condition, and another 38-year-old man is being held at Victoria police headquarters.

More than 24 Victoria officers, and a canine unit from the West Shore RCMP detachment, responded to three crime scenes in the township after multiple 9-1-1 calls came in around 3:45 p.m. Jan. 14.

After piecing together the bloody timeline, police say a tenant heard noises coming from an adjacent suite in a residence in the 800-block of Admirals Road and went to investigate.

B次元官网网址淎n altercation occurred and two of the three break-and-enter suspects received serious knife wounds,B次元官网网址� a VicPD statement revealed Saturday.

Police say the three suspects fled the area. Investigators apprehended one male a block away close to the intersection of Admirals and Colville roads.

Two more men, suffering from severe knife wounds, were located farther away. One was traced inside the Chevron gas station at the corner of Admirals and Esquimalt roads. A third man was found in a vehicle on the street outside the Plaza Court apartment building at 1124 Esquimalt Rd. near Lampson Street.

A fourth man, the tenant, was initially placed in custody Friday night. B次元官网网址淭he tenant was questioned and released and investigators will be consulting with Crown regarding whether he will face charges,B次元官网网址� police revealed.

A weapon, which police believe was used during the altercation, has also been recovered. Police were recommending charges related to break and enter and robbery.
