Island Highway will be closed to all vehicle traffic between Six Mile and Wale roads from approximately 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Vehicles will not be able to enter or exit businesses along the route during this time.

However, the sidewalks will be open during the march for members of the public who wish to show their support.

BC Ferries is offering complimentary vehicle and passenger travel for all emergency first responders attending the service. An additional sailing from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay has been added at 10 a.m. tomorrow. BC Transit will also provide free bus service for any emergency responders in uniform who wish to travel to and from the memorial service by bus.

Const. Beckett was killed in a two-vehicle crash while on duty on April 5.

The Victoria Division of the RCMP Veterans' Association has established a trust account under the name: Sarah Beckett Family "In Trust" through Coast Capital Savings Credit Union. Donations can be made to this account at any Vancouver Island or Lower Mainland branches.
