Temporary McCallum Rd. access open in Langford

Costco area traffic largely feeding temporary escape route

Crews work on the McCallum Road connector project in Langford.

An alternative access to the Leigh Road Interchange is open on McCallum Road just past Costco in Langford.

The access is open from 10 a.m. Friday to 6 p.m. Sunday for the months of November and December. The City of Langford is in the midst of a project that will see McCallum Road extended to Florence Lake Road. That project is expected to be completed in the spring of next year.
