A Victoria man was taken to hospital with a seven-inch stab wound Sunday, following a failed robbery attempt near Broad and View Streets.
Following the attack around 3 a.m., the man, 38, took a cab to hospital. Surgery was required on his abdomen.
Police say the victim did not know his alleged attacker.
The suspect, a white man who was riding a white BMX bicycle, was wearing a white baseball hat with a straight brim, a dark jacket, a dark shirt and dark jeans.
