Sooke Fire Rescue chief Kenn Mount predicts the fire risk warning to reach extreme within a few days, should the heat wave continue.

Temperatures have reached near 30 C across B.C. this week, and according to the Weather Network, the sunshine in Sooke is expected to continue.

Mount said there havenB次元官网网址檛 been any issues with bush fires recently, but he urges people to be cautious, especially following last yearB次元官网网址檚 fire season.

B次元官网网址淧eople have been better about open burning this year, we havenB次元官网网址檛 had many complaints,B次元官网网址 said Mount. B次元官网网址淏ut I think everyone is quite aware that the whole province was on fire last year, so the careless behaviour hasnB次元官网网址檛 been a trend again so far.B次元官网网址
