The snow is easing, but a wind warning remains Friday, as Environment Canada lifts the snow warning for Greater Victoria and the Malahat.
A few remaining flurries are expected to end late Friday evening, but there is a risk of frostbite as the wind chill drops the evening low of -5 C down to -11 C, dropping even further to -16 C overnight. Northeast winds increase to 60 km/h, gusting to 90 km/h.

Saturday will be mainly cloudy, clearing in the afternoon, with a high of -1 C in the morning but with a wind chill of -16 C. The winds from Friday night will diminish to 40 km/h, gusting to 60 km/h at around noon on Saturday, with -9 C expected in the afternoon. The clear night will be windy in the evening with a low of -7 C and a wind chill of -9 C in the evening and -14 C overnight. The risk of frostbite continues into Sunday.
