A man wanted for a sexual assault in Langford surrendered to authorities in Port Coquitlam yesterday.
Godstime Obelikpyha, 28, was wanted by West Shore RCMP in relation to a sexual assault of a 22-year-old Victoria woman on Nov. 1.
He walked into the Port Coquitlam Courthouse on Monday and gave himself up, five days after West Shore RCMP alerted the public that Obelikpyha being sought for the assault.
Obelikpyha appeared in Western Communities provincial court on the sexual assault charge, via video from jail in the Lower Mainland, this morning. HeB次元官网网址檚 scheduled to appear in Port Coquitlam provincial court tomorrow.
ObelikpyhaB次元官网网址檚 alleged accomplice Solomon Akintoye, 28, was charged with sexual assault last week.
Police say the two men agreed to drive the victim from VictoriaB次元官网网址檚 downtown to her residence, but instead took her to a home in Langford, where she was allegedly assaulted.
