Head on crash resulting in minor injuries and extreme damage occurred Saturday (Dec. 2) on Cadboro Bay Road at Dufferin Avenue. (Google)

A serious head-on collision occurred around 7:30 pm on Saturday (Dec. 2) on Cadboro Bay Road at Dufferin Avenue, in Oak Bay. The accident resulted in minor injuries and the vehicles suffering extreme damage.

There have been at that intersection between 2011 and 2015.

The intersection was closed for approximately two hours.

Police are investigating. Alcohol was not a contributing factor.
