A motorcyclist involved in a crash with a vehicle Monday night has succumbed to his injuries, according to Victoria police.
Shortly after 5:00 p.m. VicPD was called to the intersection of Cook and View streets for reports of a collision between and motorcycle and a vehicle.
We're now able to confirm that the motorcyclist in the collision today did not survive. Our thoughts are with his family & friends.

On Monday night, yellow police tape extended far around the crash site as more than a dozen first responders attended the scene. Cook Street was closed in both directions until almost 11 p.m.
Police have not provided any updates on the driver of the vehicle.
Anyone with information about the crash, who have not already spoken with an officer, is asked to call the Victoria Police Department at 250-995-7654 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
Police continue to tape off the intersection as investigation continues. Motorcycle is believed to have broadsided a small car that remained on the scene.
