A redevelopment plan for Cadboro-Gyro Park will see development of its own.

Saanich is hosting a private facilitated workshop in January to help fine-tune details of the commissioned concept plan for the park, published in June 2011.

It could see phase one of the plan add new wheelchair access to the beach, as well as see the redevelopment of the walkway along the edge of the beach.

However, before the shovel hits the sand, user groups including Saanich Parks, the Cadboro Bay Residents AssociationB次元官网网址檚 parks committee, representatives from the University of Victoria and the Boy Scouts will join the focused discussion into final plans for the 59-year-old park.

B次元官网网址淚 am excited about the potential for making some changes to the park,B次元官网网址� said Terry Morrison, vice chair of the CBRA. B次元官网网址淭his is the first step in producing a long-term development plan for the park.B次元官网网址�

This meeting is not open to the public, but Morrison hopes to take the public input gathered to date to the meeting. He also hopes members of the public continue to chime in with as much information as possible.
