Thomas Omwenga of Nairobi, Kenya set a new course record today in the Goodlife Fitness Victoria Marathon, with a time of 2:14.33
Second place went to Philip Samoei with a time of 2:25.41.
Top woman finisher was Lucy Njeri of Toronto, clocking a time of 2:37:56, also a course record.
More than 1,400 people ran in the 32nd annual race, which includes the 42-kilometre marathon, the half marathon, eight-kilometre road race and a kids marathon.
