Victoria residents had a lot to say about the letter sent by the 13 mayors in the Capital Regional District to Premier John Horgan and Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Claire Trevena urging immediate action to get the train running again between Langford and Victoria.

Finally - the obvious solution to the traffic issues is commuter rail, just like every other city that successfully solves the problem with more transit, not more roads. YES to trains.

In the letter, the mayors did ask for the February budget to include the completion of bus rapid transit lanes to the West Shore.
Another topic brought up was whether approval for the project had been received from local First Nations.
