A man faces charges after a fire in Langford last weekend.
Langford Fire Rescue called in West Shore RCMP Sunday (Nov. 25) after responding to a vehicle fire in the 2600 block of Sooke Road shortly before 4 a.m. Witnesses said a man was trying door handles and peering into vehicles in the area prior to the fire.
Officers searched the area, RCMP said, and found a vehicle with an open door and scattered debris indicating someone attempted to set a fire there as well. Police located a suspect who matched the witness description. He was arrested and taken into police custody.
