Police still donB次元官网网址檛 believe foul play was involved with a manB次元官网网址檚 death in the Turkey Head parking lot Feb. 6.

Emergency services responded to a call of a man in distress at 12:30 p.m. that afternoon. Police officers attempted initial live-saving measures and were then replaced by ambulance and fire services upon their arrival. Oak Bay Police Deputy Chief Ray Bernoties said emergency services attempted life-saving measures for some time before ruling the man deceased.

B次元官网网址淎t this time we have no reason to suspect foul play,B次元官网网址� Bernoties said at the scene. B次元官网网址淗owever, until we rule it out we have cordoned off the area. We have detectives at scene, we have forensic identification at scene, and weB次元官网网址檙e going to investigate this and take it very seriously.B次元官网网址�

If the death of the man in his mid-40s is found to not be suspicious, police will pass the file on to the coroner. However, if foul play is determined to have played a role, Bernoties said police would release more information. On Feb. 7 Bernoties said it would be inappropriate to release further information pertaining to the case as it stands now.

The scene was reopened to the public sometime around 5 p.m., on Feb. 6, Bernoties said.
