It was a busy week for the Oak Bay Police Department with an intoxicated woman and seven thefts from vehicles.
Police responded to a vehicle hung up on the curb along Beach Drive on Feb. 1. When police arrived they found an intoxicated woman in the passenger seat, according to the Oak Bay Police DepartmentB次元官网网址檚 weekly synopsis.
The vehicle belonged to her, so police issued her a ticket for reversing when unsafe, and her vehicle was towed.

It was a busy week for thieves. An average of one car a day was robbed in Oak Bay last week.
Seven thefts from vehicles were reported in the weekly synopsis. Two of the thefts were reported on Jan. 30, with one on McNeill Avenue and the other on Crescent Road. Three more happened on Jan. 31, on Central and Monterey avenues, as well as Oliver Street. The other two were from vehicles parked on St. Patrick Street and Harlow Drive.
Thieves nabbed a wallet, change, headphones, a garaged door opener, CDs, a backpack and some battery packs.
Aside from the thefts, police were called to Willows Park on Jan. 28, where it was discovered the inside and outside of the public washrooms were sprayed with graffiti.
