The fraud entails someone calling a random number and starting the conversation with B次元官网网址榟i grandmaB次元官网网址 (or grandpa), in hopes a caller will respond with a name. A tale of woe, for the named grandchild and plea for cash follows.
Grandparent scam is still occurring. Pls ensure your loved ones don't send money to "grandchildren" who call them. In this case, another male identified himself as a police officer. 馃がWe're investigating but please advise seniors to never send $ to someone who phones.
