We can all fondly recall those special teachers that took their profession and their students to the highest level. Whether by creating the spark that fuels a lifelong passion, by instilling a confidence or curiosity where none existed before or by simply imparting the tools that enable us to grow and learn, teachers play an invaluable role in shaping our futures.
Black Press Community B次元官网网址 Media is partnering with Staples to acknowledge those extraordinary teachers who have left lasting impressions. The Great Teachers recognition program aims to honour three teachers, one each from elementary, middle and secondary schools, who will be recognized at a special event in June and profiled in upcoming editions of this newspaper.
Black Press associate group publisher Oliver Sommer said the initiative is a great way to acknowledge the incredible work teachers do in educating the children in their care.
