The holiday season is an enticing time for would-be thieves looking for presents left in vehicles, but according to Central Saanich Police and Sidney North Saanich RCMP, there have been no reports of thefts from inside cars for quite some time.

Cpl. Chris Manseau of Sidney North Saanich RCMP said that Sidney was B次元官网网址渟ort of funny because it goes through fits and spurtsB次元官网网址 of vehicle break-ins, but he could not recall any in recent memory.
However, Manseau said that his refrain remains the same throughout the year: lock your car, lock your house, and keep valuables out of sight.
