West Shore RCMP have found a new commanding officer, although itB次元官网网址檚 not clear when heB次元官网网址檒l take up his new post.
RCMP Inspector Kevin Violot will take command when he is able to move from his post in the Northwest Territories. He has 31 years with the Mounties and is currently the acting criminal operations officer.
B次元官网网址淗e is on a quick timeline to take command. That is the hope,B次元官网网址� said Cpl. Kathy Rochlitz.
Former West Shore detachment commander Mark Fisher took the job as chief of the Oak Bay Police in July.
