DeLong felt the Conservatives ran a great campaign across the board under Erin OB次元官网网址橳oole and were ready to assume a minority government themselves.

On the campaign trail, DeLong said she was feeling good about peoplesB次元官网网址� perception of OB次元官网网址橳oole as leader and potential prime minister.

B次元官网网址淚t felt like people were getting to know him really well and the way he came out with a solid platform and actually accomplishing things,B次元官网网址� she added. B次元官网网址淏ut it didnB次元官网网址檛 work. ItB次元官网网址檚 actually something IB次元官网网址檝e got to put a lot of thought into it.B次元官网网址�

DeLong felt her chances of making inroads in the NDP-dominated Cowichan-Malahat-Langford riding were good.

B次元官网网址淲e did quite well, our incredible team and self-motivated people, too,B次元官网网址� she said. B次元官网网址淲e knocked on nearly 10,000 doors. We really got out there and talking to people.

B次元官网网址淭o me, itB次元官网网址檚 always been a conservative riding. If you talk to people and what they really believe in, it really is a conservative riding. They really seem to be logical, salt-of-the-earth people.B次元官网网址�

But DeLong still canB次元官网网址檛 get her head around the Liberals claiming a minority again with so much call for change that she experienced.

B次元官网网址淭he real perplexity for me was what happened nationally. It made no sense at all.B次元官网网址�

DeLong has considerable political experience, including previously in Alberta. She wonB次元官网网址檛 commit to running again, not right now at least, but itB次元官网网址檚 something that will always be in the back of her mind until the next election comes around.
