Morning fire claims car in Langford

A car on its way to Langford caught fire due to engine problems Thursday morning.

Langford Fire Rescue arrived on scene at the northbound side of the Trans-Canada Highway just south of the Millstream interchange around 8:30 a.m.

B次元官网网址淭he vehicle was completely destroyed,B次元官网网址� said fire Chief Bob Beckett. B次元官网网址淭he fire was contained to the engine department. We extended one hose and popped the hood to extinguish the fire.B次元官网网址�

The fire produced a lot of smoke due to fire feeding off oil and fuel. The stench of burning oil filled the surrounding area for a short time. The driver was unharmed.
