A motorcyclist has been sent to hospital after a collision with a pick-up truck Wednesday morning in View Royal.
According to View Royal Fire Chief Paul Hurst, the motorcyclist was travelling northbound. The southbound truck was turning left on to Woodville Drive near Island Highway when the collision occurred around 7:30 a.m.
B.C. Ambulance Service were on scene and transported the motorcyclist to Victoria General Hospital.
An earlier crash on Island Highway near Six Mile Pub has been cleared but don't forget, roadwork is underway on Island Highway -

The West Shore RCMP is investigating.
The accident snarled traffic briefly for morning commuters, before clearing up around 8:30 a.m.
