Missing boy found in Metchosin

UPDATE: The missing boy has been found.

Previous story: A nine-year-old student from Hans Helgesen elementary school in Metchosin is missing.

The boy's name is Jared. He was last seen wearing grey/green clothes and has a bright green cast on his left arm.

West Shore RCMP are asking the public to stay out of the forest near Hans Helgesen school. They have a police dog on scene searching for the boy.

Police are asking anyone with information or if they have seen the boy to phone them.
