Meet your candidates for coffee in Colwood on Monday

Casual event allows voters to chat with candidates for Nov. 15 election

The City of Colwood is making sure its residents have the chance to meet their 2014 municipal election candidates before the votes are cast Nov. 15.

A casual meet and greet will be held on Monday (Nov. 3) from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. to give voters a chance to introduce themselves and chat to the three mayoral and 11 council candidates. There are no formal presentations scheduled and no moderator will be present.

Coffee and snacks will be provided. The meet and greet will be held at Colwood city hall, 3300 Wishart Rd.

Candidate profiles are available at colwood.ca. A formal all-candidates meeting will be held Tuesday (Nov. 4), from 7 to 9:30 p.m., at the Colwood Pentecostal Church, 2250 Sooke Rd.
