The man believed to be the victim of a of a fatal incident March 10 on Hillside Avenue has been identified online as Victoria resident Joe Gauthier.
Multiple reports indicated Gauthier was a 35-year-old father of four, with two children who live outside B.C.
His Facebook page lists him as a former student of Esquimalt High School, who was originally from Winnipeg. B次元官网网址淩IP Joe Gauthier!B次元官网网址 a Facebook page set up in his memory, already has over 400 members and hundreds of messages of condolences.

On Monday, a pair of floral bouquets was stapled to a pole outside the house where police spent much of Saturday combing the property for evidence. The investigation has been turned over to the Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit, who have released little information.
