Update: Power restored after major outage in Victoria

BC Hydro says more than 5,000 were without power for about an hour

Power came back around 5:45 p.m. after a major outage Wednesday, Aug. 23 shortly after 4 p.m. BC Hydro says an object on the lines was responsible for the outage to 5,235 customers.
