Los Tres Amigos also brought a variety of supplies donated by departments from Colwood to Abbotsford, from medical supplies to ladders, as well as donated items pegged for a Mexican orphanage from the Westshore Sunrise Rotary Club and the YMCA-YWCA of Vancouver Island.
To help cover the roughly $10,000 cost to get the truck to Cabo, the City of Langford reached out to the West Shore Developers Association, which helped raise funds to get the truck on the road south.
