Langford Fire Rescue washes West Shore RCMP vehicles

Emergency crews pony up after blood drive competition

RCMP trumps Langford Fire Rescue in blood drive

During August and September the West Shore RCMP detachment was competing with Langford Fire Rescue in a blood drive.

"The real winner is Canadian Blood Services," said acting Sgt. kathy Rochlitz.

The RCMP won by a hair with 15 officers participating. From Langford Fire Rescue 13 firefighters donated.
