A Langford man was beaten and pepper-sprayed in a violent assault last week, but heB次元官网网址檚 refusing to help police identify his attackers.

Five men in a vehicle reportedly arrived at a home in the 2200 block of Bellamy Road on May 29, around 7:40 p.m. and assaulted the 23-year-old man. A neighbour flagged down a passing RCMP cruiser to report the home invasion.

The victim told police the assault was retribution for a fight from the night before and that he knows his attackers, but wouldnB次元官网网址檛 give up names.

RCMP Const. Julie Chanin said the victim isnB次元官网网址檛 known to police.

Police are seeking descriptions of the attackers and the vehicle in what Chanin called a brazen, daylight attack. B次元官网网址淔ive alleged guys would be noticeable, especially that time of day,B次元官网网址� Chanin said.
