Langford resident Harry Grooms, left, accepts the QueenB次元官网网址檚 Diamond Jubilee Medal during a ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park. On the right is Bruce Ferguson, national president of the Canadian Merchant Navy Veterans Association. Grooms was nominated to recognize his service to Canada as a member of overseas peacekeeping forces and for his longtime community service with the Royal Canadian Legion.
