Members of the Green Party of Canada are gathering at Royal Colwood Golf Club this weekend to name their candidate in the 2015 federal election for the Esquimalt-Saanich-Sooke riding.
The meeting gets underway Sunday (Feb. 15) at 1 p.m. Among the nominees are professional photographer Frances Litman of Esquimalt and former Esquimalt fire chief and town councillor Dave Hodgins.
Whomever is selected will go up against incumbent MP Randall Garrison, who will run for the NDP, as well as candidates from the Conservative and Liberal parties, who have yet to have their selection meetings.
Langford businesswoman Fran Hunt-Jinnouchi has already been named the Green Party's candidate for the riding of Cowichan-Malahat-Langford.
