Residents in the Capital Regional District will no longer have to pay for replacement or new recycling boxes.
As part of the districtB次元官网网址檚 renewed contract with Emterra Environmental, residents looking to replace damaged blue boxes or new homes in need of them will receive the boxes for free.
B次元官网网址淯nder the previous contract, the CRD purchased blue boxes and then sold them to customers who wanted more blue boxes and there were a series of retailers that sold them,B次元官网网址� said Russ Smith, senior manager, environmental resource management.
