Fiery crash in Metchosin

Police still investigating the cause of the crash

A fiery two-vehicle crash Saturday night in Metchosin is still under investigation.

One vehicle caught fire after the collision, but the driver was able to get out of the truck. Neither of the drivers involved in the crash were injured, according to West Shore RCMP Const. Matthew Baker. The crash occurred Saturday night at around 10:15 p.m. on Metchosin Road near Happy Valley Road.

Cathy OB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™Connor posted a video to Twitter of firefighters working to put out the blaze.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
