Victoria police are asking for the publicB次元官网网址檚 help in locating a 22-year-old man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

Dezmond White failed to return to his Surrey halfway house in mid-August, and a Canada-wide warrant was issued to revoke his parole.

His current parole identification was found Saturday at the Saanich Fair in Central Saanich.

B次元官网网址淭his is a dangerous person and we need to get him back in custody as soon as possible,B次元官网网址� said Det. Shawn Robson with VicPDB次元官网网址檚 high risk offender unit.

A release from VicPD said White has an extensive history of violence and is considered armed and dangerous. He was serving a federal sentence for break and enter, uttering threats and firearms offences that occurred in Saanich and Victoria in 2010.

White is described as a white man, approximately 180 lbs. and 6B次元官网网址� tall. He has blue eyes and short brown hair, and has extensive tattoos on his arms, chest and back. He has the words B次元官网网址淲est SideB次元官网网址� tattooed on his hands.

Police are asking anyone with information on WhiteB次元官网网址檚 whereabouts to contact Det. Robson at shawn.robson@vicpd.ca or call 911.
