The West Shore RCMP street crime unit busted a Florence Lake area resident with 400 tablets of ecstasy and other illicit drugs last Thursday.

Officers executed a search warrant the early evening of June 2 in the 1000 block of Citation Road and arrested one 27-year-old Langford man without incident.

Police located 400 tablets of ecstasy, 22 grams magic mushrooms, seven grams of cocaine, 2.5 grams of a powdered form of ecstasy and four ounces of marijuana. Police also found a can of pepper spray.

The man was released on a promise to appear in court in August. Police are still investigating and potential charges of drug possession and drug trafficking havenB次元官网网址檛 been laid.

West Shore RCMP encourage any resident who suspects drug trafficking or other illegal activities are happening in their neighbourhood to call the detachment at 250-474-2264.
