Driver fatigue may have caused the semi truck crash Monday morning on the Trans-Canada Highway in Langford.

While the West Shore RCMP noted the file is still under investigation, they did disclose fatigue is being considered as a contributing factor to the crash.

The truck left the roadway, struck a sign and hit a rock outcrop on the side of the TCH between the Millstream Road overpass and the Six Mile Road exit at approximately 3 a.m.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash and no injuries were reported.

Salvage crews arrived at around 10 a.m. B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·“ after the morning rush B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·“ and began work removing the wreckage. The truck was finally towed late afternoon, causing even more southbound delays on that stretch of highway.
