According to West Shore RCMP officers on scene, two vehicles stopped short in front of the truck and the driver could not stop in time. He pulled off the road to avoid hitting other vehicles.
While steering the truck to the shoulder, the driver initially hit the rock wall coming around the bend, roughly 50 feet from where it landed, bounced off, causing some of the rock it was carrying to spray out of the trailer, and finally stopped.
