Crash along Sooke Road in Colwood causes minor injuries

Traffic was briefly down to one lane while emergency crews were on scene

A two-vehicle crash occurred just before 9 a.m. Thursday morning on Sooke Road in Colwood.

The crash happened in the right-hand lane heading toward Metchosin Road.

Captain Bryan Erwin with Colwood Fire Rescue said crews were on scene for 15 minutes with single-lane southbound traffic at that time.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Erwin said there were minor injuries reported and the patients were tended to by B.C. Ambulance.

The cause of the crash is not known at this time.
