UPDATED: Coroners office investigates death of Oak Bay high student

Life saving measures unsuccessful on male teen found unresponsive Friday morning

The BC Coroners Service is investigating after an Oak Bay High School student died today (April 20).

Oak Bay police and fire were called for a home on Lincoln Road Friday morning at 7:30. A 16 year old male was reported to be in medical distress, according to the Oak Bay Police Department.

B次元官网网址淏次元官网网址嶢ny death involving a young person is treated as a priority and the Oak Bay Police are working closely with the BC Coroner Service to confirm the cause of death. Police forensics and investigators have been engaged in this matter. There is no reason to feel the public are at risk.
