Colwood resident disappointed to find couch dumped on Ocean Boulevard

Colwood resident Scott McDonald made what he called a B次元官网网址渄isappointingB次元官网网址 discovery this morning on Ocean Boulevard.

The resident of the Esquimalt Lagoon area found sections of a red couch illegally dumped on the side of the road just before 9:00 a.m.

B次元官网网址淭hereB次元官网网址檚 just so many other places that can take them. I think someone on my Facebook page somebody said that even UsedVictoriaB次元官网网址heyB次元官网网址檇 have been gone if they were free,B次元官网网址 he said.

McDonald posted photos of the couch on Twitter and Facebook and says that Coun. Gordie Logan reached out to him almost instantly. Logan forwarded the incident to City staff.

B次元官网网址淜udos to Colwood, they had it cleaned up within 90 minutes,B次元官网网址 McDonald said.

McDonald says he often comes across items that have been illegally dumped, citing a couch on Metchosin Road last week and another when he was on his way to Matheson Lake over the weekend.
