A young child has been rushed to hospital after being struck by a vehicle early Monday morning in Greater Victoria.
The six-year-old girl was crossing Glanford Avenue at Kenneth Street in a marked crosswalk with an older sibling when she was hit by a vehicle that left the scene heading northbound on Glanford.
The girlB次元官网网址檚 injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Saanich police confirm they are in the early stages of a hit and run investigation. Glanford Avenue was closed to traffic in both directions at Kenneth Street to Agnes Street for about an hour starting just after 7:30 a.m., and has now been reopened.

Police are looking for a vehicle described as B次元官网网址渂oxyB次元官网网址, possibly a late 80B次元官网网址檚 or early 90B次元官网网址檚 model white Honda with a silver bumper.
They believe the vehicle would have damage to its passenger side mirror, and are asking the public with any information to contact them.
