The clock is ticking down to the wire for candidates to come forward for the upcoming byelection.
The deadline for nominations is 1 p.m. on Saturday (June 3) for the provincial byelection on June 24 for the Langford-Juan de Fuca riding.

Eligible voters can register or update their voter information the Langford-Juan de Fuca district electoral office in the Belmont Market Shopping Centre at #110-955 Reunion Ave. in Langford during office hours, by phone at 1-800-661-8683, or online at eregister.electionsbc.gov.bc.ca/ovr/welcome.aspx until midnight, June 14.
Office hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Advance voting will be available from June 16 to June 21. from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Elections BC advises checking to ensure the office is open.
You can also vote by mail by requesting a voting package on Election BCB次元官网网址檚 website, or by calling 1-800-661-8683. Voting packages must be received by 8 p.m. on June 24.
The byelection is to fill the seat held by former premier John Horgan, who announced in March that he will not seek reelection.
After the nominations close, a final list of candidates will be posted on Elections BCB次元官网网址檚 website.
