Burglar nabbed in broad daylight

Concerned residents report suspicious man in their neighbourhood

West Shore RCMP have one man in custody after a Langford burglary in broad daylight .

The local detachment was called to a residence on Hoylake Avenue at roughly 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday after concerned neighbours reported a man acting suspiciously, looking into sheds and going through yards.

Police responded and arrested 30-year-old Derek Rocco, a Victoria resident. Rocco has been charged with break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime, and mischief.
