The body found floating in the Gorge Waterway on Tuesday afternoon has been identified as Duncan Pucker.
Victoria Police made the announcement this afternoon, saying their thoughts go out to DuncanB次元官网网址檚 family.
PuckerB次元官网网址檚 body was found around 2 p.m. by a group of paddlers, according to VicPD. Officers arrived at the Fairway Gorge Paddling Club, near the Selkirk area of Victoria off Gorge Road and wrapped the body in a green tarp and the investigation progressed

Pucker was last seen in Victoria on Feb. 4, 2018 and reported as missing to Saanich Police two days later.

Authorities had previously searched the waterway and surrounding areas for the 26-year-old man with help from the Saanich Police Dive Unit, Joint Rescue Coordination Centre, Canadian Coast Guard Operations and the crew of the Coast Guard ship CCGS Bartlett, Victoria Fire Department and Metchosin Ground Search and Rescue.
