Saanich Police continue to search for the driver of a vehicle that left the scene after hitting a six-year-old girl, whose sister is credited with saving the youngster from more severe injuries.
B次元官网网址淲eB次元官网网址檙e still asking for the publicB次元官网网址檚 assistance in locating the offending vehicle,B次元官网网址 said Sgt. Jereme Leslie Tuesday morning, about 24 hours after a vehicle hit the girl, who was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The girl was walking to school with her 15-year-old sister when they were hit in a marked crosswalk. Leslie said the the older sister grabbed the younger one by the collar and pulled her back, likely avoiding more severe injuries.

As for the vehicle, Saanich police are looking for a vehicle described as B次元官网网址渂oxyB次元官网网址, possibly a late B次元官网网址80s or early B次元官网网址90s model white Honda with a silver bumper.
They believe the vehicle would have damage to its passenger side mirror, and are asking the public with any information to contact them.
